# Login on another device

**NOTE**

A "device" for Stobox 4 means a device (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone), a browser (Chrome, Brave, Safari, etc.), or a profile in your browser, actually. For better understanding, [check this post>>>](https://docs.stobox.io/helpcentre/f.a.q./devices-for-stobox-4)

**You must have your original account open during the process.**

Please don't rush and give your systems time.

### **Connect your mobile phone to the Stobox 4 account on a desktop**

#### **On your original device**

Log in to your account at[ https://stobox4.io/](https://stobox4.io/).

#### **On your new device**

1. Log in to your account at <https://stobox4.io/> using your credentials.
2. You will see a screen that prompts you to connect this device to your account.
3. Click the **Send a request** button.<br>

#### **On your original device**

1. Wait for an authorization request at the top right. *It may take up to 2 minutes*.
2. Click **Yes** on the pop-up message.\

#### **On your new device**

1. Wait until you see the backup file generation screen.
2. Proceed to generate, download, and re-upload the backup file as usual.

**Important**

To avoid permanently losing access to your wallet, during wallet setup:

🚫 Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If your connection is unstable, wait until you are in a place with stable internet before starting.\
🚫 Do NOT refresh, close, or go back on the page\
🚫 Do NOT clear cache before saving your backup file\
🚫 Do NOT minimize the browser window.\
🚫 On mobile: keep the screen active and do not minimize the browser app.

​If the process is interrupted, the keys will not be saved to your device, and you will need to recreate the account.
