# I lost access to my account, but I have access on another device

Sorry to hear you lost access to your account. But we're happy that you have your valid backup with you.

You may have access to your account on another physical device and/or browser, and those would have their own backup file

#### If you have any other device/browser previously connected to your original account,

You can use the process of connecting the device you have access to the device where you lost access using the process [Login on another device](/helpcentre/help-centre/getting-started/manage-your-account/login-on-another-device.md).

*The process assumes you are logged in to one of your accounts and will click the pop-up message on the top right of the account to approve the connection from your other device.*

Still having trouble? [Contact us directly](/helpcentre/help-centre/contact-support.md).

We do not offer support on Telegram, WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), or similar platforms either. If someone reaches out to you via those channels and offers help in DM, they are scammers.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.stobox.io/helpcentre/help-centre/troubleshooting/i-lost-access-to-my-account/i-lost-access-to-my-account-but-i-have-access-on-another-device.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
