Frequently Asked Questions

Why are some cryptocurrencies not listed on the DS Swap?

The main goal of the DS Swap is to create a secondary market for security tokens. In this case, common crypto is not a priority here and is only listed if requested by the security token Issuers.

For instance, one of our clients has a utility token, and they wish to create a trading pair with their security token against their utility token. They have another trading pair of their utility token against the stablecoin, BUSD. However, using the router, investors can buy or sell a security token with  BUSD. For sale, this would be a one-step process of swapping a security token for a utility token and then the utility token to BUSD. In the future, we will consider adding more ordinary cryptocurrencies. Stay tuned for our news.

Does DS Swap work the same way as Panсake Swap?

Partially yes, it is. However, we implemented additional functionalities and fee configurations in order to meet the legal and regulatory standards of security tokens.

Is it true that DS Swap is fully automated with the help of a smart contract?

Yes, it is.

Who can trade security tokens?

Anyone with a DS Dashboard account and verified identity can trade security tokens on the DS Swap.

Do I have to be whitelisted to trade security tokens?

You must use a whitelisted wallet address to connect and trade security tokens.

If the DS Swap is about both security and utility tokens, is there a different login for those who want to trade their security tokens and those who want to swap some utility tokens?

No, there is not. You should use the whitelisted wallet address to buy or sell security tokens. Identity verification and whitelisted wallet addresses are not required to trade common crypto.

To whitelist the wallet address, you should register on the DS Dashboard of your selected project and verify your identity.

📌
Note that Issuers may have different requirements for their investors according to the regulations in their country. Read more on your selected Issuer’s website.
