Blockchain dApps Connectivity

Stobox 4 enhances user interaction with the blockchain ecosystem by integrating with decentralized applications (dApps) through WalletConnect. This section of the documentation explains how users can connect to various web3 applications, manage transactions, and understand the scope of asset support within Stobox 4.
WalletConnect Integration. WalletConnect serves as the bridge between Stobox 4's desktop platform and mobile wallet applications. This protocol allows users to securely connect and interact with dApps directly from their Stobox 4 account.
Transaction Signing Process:
Initiation. When a user wants to interact with a dApp (e.g., for trading, lending, or staking), the dApp will present a QR code or a deep link.
Scanning & Signing. Users scan this QR code using their Stobox 4 mobile wallet app connected via WalletConnect. This action prompts the wallet to display the transaction details for approval.
Authorization. After reviewing, the user signs the transaction within their mobile app, which securely sends the signature back to the dApp through WalletConnect, completing the transaction on the blockchain.
While WalletConnect allows connectivity to any web3 application, Stobox 4's wallet functionality is tailored to support only selected assets. This means:
Visibility. Some assets available on other platforms might not be visible or manageable through Stobox 4 if they are not supported.
Functionality. Transactions involving unsupported assets cannot be processed through Stobox 4, even if the dApp itself supports these assets.
Basic Integrations:
Liquid Staking. Integration with Lido for Ethereum (ETH) staking, allowing users to stake their ETH and earn rewards directly through Stobox 4.
Decentralized Exchanges. Connectivity with Uniswap, facilitating token swaps and liquidity provision with supported assets.
Lending Platforms. Access to AAVE, where users can lend or borrow supported cryptocurrencies.
Stobox 4 is committed to expanding its list of integrated dApps, aiming to provide users with a broader range of decentralized finance (DeFi) services and applications. Users are encouraged to check the documentation or platform updates for new integrations.
